NuPasta nuPasta is a low calorie, low carb pasta with no starch. nuPasta hopes to help Canadians maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Obesity has become a growing health concern for Canadians, the obesity rate has tripled within the last thirty years, as a result many individuals are searching for an easy way to lose weight. Unfortunately, fad diets, 'fat loss shortcuts' and extreme exercising regimes are often unsuccessful due to their unsustainable nature. It is a low calorie, fibre rich konjac pasta with 1/10 the calories of traditional pasta. Pasta dishes have gotten a 'bad' reputation over the past few years as people become more health conscious. People seem to think that pasta must be the first to go as they try to lose weight, but they also find that it is one of the hardest dishes to give up. We're here tell you that you don't have to! With nuPasta, you can continue to enjoy your favourite meals - simply prepare the dish with the same Pasta sauce and sides that you would normally. That's right, with nuPasta you can keep eating your favourite pasta dishes, while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Often people try to make healthy substitutes, but find that they must make a compromise. When dinner needs to be fast but still feel satisfying… pesto always understands the assignment. 🌿

Here's how to make Simple Pesto Fettuccine with nuPasta ⤵️

4 steps · ~6 mins · 2 servings

Ingredients:
· 2 packs nuPasta Fettuccine
· 2 cups fresh basil
· 2 garlic cloves
· 1/2 cup pine nuts
· 3/4 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
· 1/2 cup olive oil
· Salt, to taste

Directions:
→ Drain, rinse, and pan-fry 2 packs of nuPasta Fettuccine for 2–3 minutes. Set aside.
→ In a blender, combine basil, garlic, pine nuts, Parmigiano-Reggiano, olive oil, and salt. Pulse until smooth.
→ Add pesto to a pan and toss with nuPasta until evenly coated.
→ Heat through for 2–3 minutes, then plate and garnish with extra cheese (and a little extra pesto if you’re feeling it).

Salty-savoury comfort with a little pop of green. Here's how to make Sundried Tomato & Peas Fettuccine with nuPasta ⤵️

4 steps · ~9 mins · 1 serving

Ingredients:
· 1 pack nuPasta Fettuccine
· 4–5 sundried tomatoes
· ¾ cup peas
· 2 garlic cloves, finely sliced
· 2 tbsp olive oil
· Salt + pepper, to taste

Directions:
→ Drain, rinse, and pan-fry 1 pack of nuPasta Fettuccine for 2–3 minutes. Set aside.
→ In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until golden. Add sundried tomatoes.
→ Season with salt + pepper, add nuPasta, and mix well.
→ Fold in peas, serve, and garnish with parsley.
