We are very excited to welcome Dr. Brenna Byer to Moore Chiropractic and Massage Therapy Clinic!

Dr. Byer is a chiropractor and acupuncture provider, who has a special interest in the pregnant, postpartum and pediatric populations. She utilizes a combination of adjustments, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, rehabilitation and modalities in her treatments, depending on patient needs.

You may recognize Dr. Byer from behind our front desk, where she worked throughout chiropractic school.

Dr. Byer is a great addition to our already fantastic team!

To all of our many amazing Patients/Clients/Friends:

As many of you already know York Region will enter “Lockdown” Monday December 14th. Many of you have reached out to us in the past few days deeply concerned about whether or not you will be able to still receive treatment for your acute musculoskeletal needs.

The staff of Moore Chiropractic and Massage Therapy Clinic take this pandemic very seriously and have implemented every precautionary measure possible, as outlined by our respective Colleges and Public Health to protect our staff and patients/clients, and thus will REMAIN OPEN during these trying times.

Over the past 24 years we have always strived to help everyone that enters our clinic live better, healthier, pain-free lives through our care and advice and will continue to do so while keeping everyone safe!

We are excited to announce the reopening of our clinic on Monday June 1st.

We are in unprecedented times! We at Moore Chiropractic and Massage Therapy Clinic take the health of our staff and patients and clients very seriously! That is why we are implementing the stringent guidelines of Ministry of Health, the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in our clinic. We will try and limit the risk of contracting SARS-CoV2 to our best ability in our facility.

Although, we would love to open the doors Monday morning and be “business as usual” we know that is not possible! We will not be running at full capacity for quite some time. We will be limiting the number of patients and/or clients seen per day, so please be patient with us.

Over the past few months we have had many of you reach out to us wondering when you can get in for much needed treatment. We will do our best to accommodate as many of you as quickly as possible under the strict guidelines.

Please reach out to us either by phone, email or DM in Facebook or Instagram if you have any questions, concerns or would like to book an appointment with any of our practitioners.

No gym to go to so we have to make do.

In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic and in keeping with our priority to maintain the absolute safety of our staff and patients with recommendations from our regulatory bodies (College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the College of Registered Massage Therapists of Ontario) we will be CLOSING our clinic immediately until at least March 25/20.

It has been a very difficult decision to make but feel it is the right thing to do at this time.

We’re keeping abreast of the latest information regarding COVID-19.

As I write this the clinic will remain OPEN for those requiring our care. Should our governing bodies of Chiropractic and Massage Therapists of Ontario deem it necessary to close all clinics, our facility we will remain OPEN until that time.

As per WHO and CDC recommendations please REFRAIN from going into public if you’re exhibiting ANY respiratory signs and symptoms ie sore throat, dry cough, fever.

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our chiropractic associate, Dr. Jordan Bennett, for recently passing his Neuroscience board examinations!

Dr. Bennett completed 300 + hours of study to obtain his DACNB (Diplomate in the American Chiropractic Neurology Board) and is among a very select few in Canada with this designation.

What does all this mean for patients? Dr. Bennett now has an extensive knowledge base for assessing, treating and rehabilitating people with Minor Traumatic Brain Injury (MTBI) such as CONCUSSION using cutting edge technology!
