COVID-19 Update, Directives to be Withdrawn

The Government of Ontario announced that several COVID-19 measures will be withdrawn in the coming weeks.
While the Government has decided that masking requirements will be removed in most places on March 21 this does not include health-care settings. Dentistry is a health care profession and infection prevention and control requirements, including PPE requirements, are essential to the delivery of safe and effective oral health care. The Ministry of Health continues to require that all patients are screened before being treated. N95 respirators (or equivalent) must be used for any patient interactions involving confirmed, suspected or probable COVID-19 cases, as well as for any aerosol generating procedure (AGP), regardless of screening.
Our office has always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have updated our protocols.

COVID office protocols made to protect you…
• Prescreening - You will receive a screening call before your appointment.
• Bring and wear a mask/face covering when you arrive - we ask that you bring your mask and wear it into the office
• Prioritize hand hygiene - you will be reminded to hand sanitize when you enter and when you leave the office. There are more dispensers around the office for you to use as needed.

Rest assured, all these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients and our team. We look forward to seeing you again.
