We want to take a moment to sincerely thank each one of our dietary team for the incredible work you do every day.
What many may not realize is just how much happens behind the scenes. From preparing 6 meals and 2 nourishments daily, to supporting catering, Meals on Wheels, and offsite programs, our department truly does it all—weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

✨ $11 MILLION — What an achievement!
Yesterday, we proudly celebrated the successful completion of our $11 million fundraising campaign in support of Maxville Manor’s Redevelopment!
Hosted by Campaign Co‑Chair Jamie MacDonald, the event brought together dedicated community supporters whose belief in this project and in our fundraising efforts never wavered. It was a day filled with gratitude and inspiration. Guest speakers shared messages of thanks and heartfelt stories that reflected the Manor’s impact on countless families, and expressed deep appreciation for the generosity that made reaching this goal possible.
We highlighted some of the incredible gifts that helped bring us to this moment—far too many to list, but each and every one deeply valued. We also celebrated a remarkable contribution from Desjardins, the gift that carried us across the fundraising finish line and helped us officially meet our goal.
This community celebration was followed by an event to honour the residents and thank the staff at Maxville Manor.
Thank you to EVERYONE who believed in this vision and invested in the future of care at Maxville Manor. TOGETHER, we did it!

Thanks to Mike Schram & Kim Burton-Schram for capturing our celebration.
