Help us make a senior’s Christmas a little brighter this year!

We’re selling 50 squares at $20, and once the board is full, one lucky winner will take home $500 cash!
We’re aiming to sell out twice to bring even more cheer to our seniors this Christmas!

How to Play:
• Each square is $20
• All tickets must be sold at Extendicare Mayerthorpe only!
• When the board fills, we'll roll the dice to determine our Winner!
• Winner receives $500
• All proceeds help us stuff Christmas stockings our seniors

We were absolutely delighted to welcome the talented performers from Concerts in Care Alberta for a recent visit!

Live music has such a wonderful way of connecting people, and this performance was no exception. Residents, staff, and guests were all moved by the artistry and warmth these musicians brought to our community. 🎻🎶

Had such a fun Halloween night! The party was great fun, great costumes, spooky vibes, and lots of laughs. Loved seeing all the trick-or-treaters stop by with their creative outfits and big smiles! Already can’t wait for next year!

A heartfelt thank you to the Freeman Family for leading us in assembling 14 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes!

Our residents especially enjoyed the chance to give back, as we are often the ones blessed to receive care and generosity from others. Being able to extend that same kindness forward was both meaningful and uplifting for everyone involved.

We are so grateful for the leadership, enthusiasm, and joy that was brought to this project. Moments like these remind us how powerful it is when our community joins hands to make a difference!

Our Palliative Committee would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Reitsma Family for their loving and generous donation of a handmade Dignity Quilt.

This beautiful quilt represents far more than fabric and thread, it carries with it the spirit of compassion, remembrance, and care that defines our home. Each stitch reflects the time, effort, and love that went into creating it, and we are truly touched by this heartfelt gesture.

Your hard work and thoughtfulness have given us a priceless gift, one that will bring comfort, warmth, and dignity to many for years to come.

Did you know we have some of the very best youth volunteers? Meet Archer!

Archer made salt dough Halloween decorations with the residents and brought them in to be painted. He even led the painting group himself! 🖌️

We’re so thankful for Archer’s creativity, kindness, and leadership, what a wonderful way to bring some Halloween spirit to everyone!
