Ribbon Skirt Day

However , I celebrate culture in all the work that I do.
Its rare I'm not wearing a Ribbon Skirt to an Event or anything I do under Anishnabe Naturals or Sacred Celestial Connections .

There were times , not long ago. Just in my parents generation, where it was not allowed to wear cultural traditions , dance or speak our language.
Ive transformed my historical wounds into love for myself.
Ive let go of negative emotions associated with historical and intergenerational trauma.
But, that doesn't mean that I wont teach about it so we all can continue to break cycles and relearn sovereignty.

No longer worried what people think with genuine inner peace.
No longer limited to express myself or worried if I'm allowed.

At one time amongst Indigenous people. It was a stigma we were only allowed to wear our skirts for ceremonies.
I decided to step out of that limitation by wearing my skirts as part of presentation when representing Sacred Celestial Connections with Anishnabe Naturals.

My work , my passions and my calling ....

I allow judgment to slide off....

Every ribbon Skirt I wear or have custom made comes with a spiritual meaning or awareness.

Along with your Spirit Guides, Ancestors, Angels and any messages from passed on loved ones. I'll encourage you to empower yourself by looking within.
Unknowingly, too often we step off our path by seeking love outside of ourselves.
What is it we are not seeing at this time?
Where do my Spirit Guides want me to self reflect and empower myself?
What can I transform or close off to open new doors?
What voids have I unconsciously been trying to fill where patterns keep recycling back to me?
Am I settling and seeking for temporary relationships and comfort?

Is a deep inwards Journey in layers throughout our lives.
Its relearning to love ourselves in the physical, emotional, mental and emotional.
Relearning to listen to our Intuition vs our pain, fears and any patterns we've been unconscious of.

Miigwech for all the collaboration with small businesses and various Healers I've worked with. I hope we can continue to support eachother. Plus I'm always open to joining additional opportunities and collaboration.

Thankyou to all the businesses that offer and advertise my Anishnabe Naturals remedies.

Much gratitude for attending and supporting all the Retreats, Circles and Community Events I've facilitated and co- facilitated in 2025. You unknowingly supported many sovereign holistic health practices and hand crafted artisans just by attending and sharing .

2026 will bring new focus for me as a new Ordained Minister.
I was Licensed and Ordained as of September 2025.

Whatever you celebrate
Happy Holidays, Winter Solstice Blessings, Merry Christmas
Its all connected and so are we spiritually ✨️
Part of our Karma is unlearning separateness.

Long before settlers and this became a diverse land of many cultures. First Nations people celebrated Winter Solstice.
We honored the Star People and went by celestial events in the sky.

We rested, reflected and shed before ceremonies.
Then we gathered, feasted , storytelling, dancing and reconnected.
We left out offerings for the Star People and many other Celestial Beings.

Christmas is newer than Winter Solstice in reality. And the church adopted alot of Pagan and First Nations traditions in order to assimilate us into Christianity.

So in reality, Christmas is multicultural and new to this land now called North America.
The church incorporated themselves into December.
"Christmas" , now dominant of this land. Mainly in marketing.

Some are returning to their original roots and traditions that resonate with them. Spiritually this is healing to them assisting them in the mental and emotional as well. If it helps them, is all that matters. Ive witnessed lots of healing with culture. They express a sense of liberation and peace.
They are not offended or never were , if you said Merry Christmas to them. Because the majority came to relearn history.
Someone made up a false belief that apparently its offensive to say MC to only create division. Let's end this division and false belief that many still keep alive every season, sadly.

Those returning to their original roots are forgiving , cycle breaking and embracing what's healing to them.

The tree, wreath, holly, Santa, mistletoe, Yule log and fire ceremonies are all original to Nordic or Celtic Pagan traditions.
Pagans left offerings out as well. Very similar to us leaving cookies out for Santa.

The Poinsettia originated from our Aztec south American Indigenous friends. That's one of their sacred ceremonial flowers.

So, Happy Holidays, Winter Solstice Blessings, Yuletide Blessings and Merry Christmas
( as they all mean the same thing. Its your intention of love and unity you put into it)

Spirit has been encouraging humanity since 2020 to return to sovereignty and community.
Remembering our skills we gave away and access to holistic food, original medicines and organic products.
To relearn nourishment again. As we've abandoned our health.
