Writing Residency #4 at the SEED lodge. I am so happy to welcome 8 writers from the US and Canada here. Tonight we gather over soup and bread and introduce each ourselves and our work. Tomorrow the fun begins…. for anyone local who wants to come and spend the day writing with us send me a DM. There will be plenty of tea and coffee and good writing vibes.

Finally I am teaching Kundalini Yoga again. First class bright and early tomorrow morning at the beautiful shoshoni temple in Clarksburg at 7:30am. There are few places for us to gather and grieve together and yet grieving is a natural consequence to loving. Grieving has always been communal because it’s too much for one person to do on their own. Join us at the Seed Lodge on November 1 for this beautiful ritual and art therapy practice to honour our dead. All ages welcome. 10-4pm. Link and registration in bio.

Group therapy is where it’s at! The most effective way I think to practice being you in all your forms and all your awkwardness. We do this together and the real healing comes when we can be real and support one another. It’s easier than you think. Emotional literacy begins soon. Online and in person sessions. I taught an art therapy workshop this morning outside and it was magical. I love how art materials awaken the senses and imagination even for people who think they are not artistic ❤️ plenty of laughter. Plenty of play. Plenty of fun self care retreat this weekend.
