🚵‍♂️💚 Trail User Etiquette: Let's Share the Trails! 🌲
We are just as stoked as you are to practice for the Battle Creek Showdown! (It’s only for corn🌽 😉) With that, we wanted to share some reminders. Remember: we're all out here to enjoy what an amazing place we have! 🌄Here are a few simple ways we can all keep it friendly and fun for everyone:
1. Yield when necessary: Uphill riders and pedestrians have the right of way. If you're cruising downhill, be ready to stop and let others pass safely.
2. Call out: Give a friendly heads-up when you're approaching from behind. It’s polite and helps avoid surprises!
3. Keep it clean: Respect the trail by cleaning up after yourself. Leave no trace! 🌿
4. Be aware of other users: Hikers, trail runners, and fellow bikers all have the same right to the trail. Slow down and say hello when passing!
5. Communicate and smile: A simple wave can go a long way. We're all part of the same outdoor community!
By sharing the trails with respect, we help ensure that everyone gets to enjoy the ride—safely and responsibly. Let’s keep the good vibes rolling! 🙌

🚧*BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION/CLOSURE NOTICE*🚧

Hi Folks, the City is beginning some construction this summer on two bridges:

Bridge southeast of Echodale (pic 2): scheduled to start July 14th and will last approximately 20 days

Bridge at Gas City Campground (pic 1): expected to start August 18th and anticipated to last 25 days

Please note that the path/bridge will be closed resulting in folks having to take another route. Big thanks to the Parks Department for taking care of our paths!
