Her therapeutic approach is from a Somatic touch lens. Jaime has worked and studied in the helping field for nine years. She started her journey as a touch therapist in British Columbia at a treatment center in the Shuswap. As a Somatic- informed therapist, Jaime has a nurture-by-nature approach to therapy and believes clients can integrate their physical bodies into the therapy process which can heal both mind and body. Over the years, Jaime has continued to add to her education as a certified Death Doula, Addiction Counsellor, Professional Counsellor, qualified life coach, Shadow integration therapy, PolyVagal theory and Holistic Wellness Counsellor. As a somatic-informed therapist, Jaime aims to provide psycho-education that incorporates body-oriented modalities such as breath-work, meditation, inventory of the nervous system (vagal toning) and mind-body assessment experiences into her sessions.
