Located in the heart of Medicine Hat, Alberta the picturesque community provides our residents and their families the opportunity to enjoy the varied local shops and restaurants located in the city’s downtown area, within close proximity from our residence. The Wellington Retirement Residence has 50 Continuing Care Type B suites government funded suites (formally Designated Supportive Living Level 4), accessed through Alberta Health Services, South Zone.

Our amazing HCA and LPN team recently came together to enjoy a potluck meal, and it was truly a beautiful thing to witness. Seeing everyone share not only delicious food, but also laughter, stories, and genuine care for one another was incredibly heartwarming. The kindness, respect, and sense of family within this team shines so brightly, especially at this meaningful time of year. We are so grateful for each and every one of you and for the compassion, dedication, and love you bring to our residents and to one another every single day. Last week we celebrated our Wellington Staff Christmas Party and shared a wonderful evening at MFlex Golf and Lounge.
There was so much laughter and joy, and it was truly special to spend that time together.
I couldn’t be more proud of the caring, dedicated people at The Wellington-you bring kindness and heart to everything you do.
