Featuring the Yoga for Backs+ class, Wednesday nights at 7:15--
We use soft props and specialized training to address back, posture, and overall moving (and sitting) habits. A lot is done lying down and working on releasing tension, then looking at and strengthening core engagement and improving spinal movement. It's gentle, relaxing, effective, and for all bodies. It is said to be "the" modern yoga, to counteract modern (sitting) lifestyles. It's yoga for life.
If you can get onto the floor once or twice, and get up off the floor once or twice in a class--with some standing or sitting yoga postures in between--you will do fine. If you lift weights and wonder about your movement patterns, or could use more relaxation--you will benefit from the quiet hour spent in this work.
