Let’s clear the air on prenatal chiropractic care!

1️. “Chiro isn’t safe during pregnancy”
✅ False! Prenatal chiropractic care is gentle, safe, and tailored to each stage of pregnancy.

2️. “It can cause labor”
✅ Nope! Adjustments do not induce labor. They simply support alignment and comfort.

3️. “Chiropractors turn breech babies”
✅ Chiropractors don’t turn babies. They use techniques to create space in the pelvis, which may help baby move on their own.

4️. “It’s only for pain relief”
✅ Pain relief is a bonus — but chiropractic also helps with posture, balance, pelvic alignment, and labor prep!

Education is empowerment – and you deserve both. 💛

Let’s talk about pelvic balance during pregnancy.

As your body changes, the alignment of your pelvis can shift. This can lead to:
• Low back or hip pain
• Tight or strained ligaments
• Less space for baby to move
• Difficulty with baby settling head-down

How chiropractic care helps:
Through gentle, specific adjustments, we restore balance to the pelvis and reduce tension in surrounding muscles and ligaments. This creates a more stable, neutral foundation — not just for your comfort, but also to encourage optimal fetal positioning.

A balanced pelvis =
✔️ Less pain
✔️ More mobility
✔️ Better baby positioning
✔️ A body better prepared for labor

What are the benefits of prenatal chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care can help support comfort, alignment, and a smoother birth experience. Here's how:

Pelvic balance for optimal baby positioning
Gentle adjustments help align the pelvis, giving baby more room to move into the ideal head-down position.

Reduce nausea
By supporting nervous system function and relieving tension, chiropractic care may help ease pregnancy-related nausea.

Better sleep
Reducing pain, tension, and stress can help you rest more comfortably — something every mom-to-be needs!

Pain relief
Ease common pregnancy discomforts like low back pain, sciatica, and pelvic pressure with safe, targeted care.

Reduced risk of C-section
When baby is in the right position and your pelvis is balanced, labor can progress more naturally — reducing the chances of interventions.

Shorter labour and delivery time
Proper alignment and nervous system function can support more efficient contractions and a smoother delivery process.

Your body is doing amazing things — let us help you feel your best along the way 🤍

6 Ways to Prevent Plantar Fasciitis This Summer

Running season is here — don’t let foot pain slow you down! Here’s how to protect your feet and keep moving pain-free:

1. Wear Supportive Footwear
Ditch the worn-out runners and flip-flops — opt for shoes with arch support and cushioning.
2. Stretch Your Feet & Calves Daily
Loosen tight muscles with simple stretches to reduce strain on your plantar fascia. Ask your massage therapist or chiropractor at your next visit for specific exercises!
3. Avoid Sudden Increases in Activity
Gradually build up distance or intensity to give your feet time to adjust.
4. Roll it Out
Use a frozen water bottle or massage ball to roll out the bottom of your feet — it’s like a mini foot massage!
5. Get Regular Massage Therapy
Targeted massage helps release tension, improve circulation, and support recovery.
6. See Your Chiropractor
Misalignments in your feet, knees, or hips can increase strain — chiropractic care helps realign and rebalance your movement.

Prevention is key — and we’re here to help every step of the way!

📍Book your next massage or chiro appointment and show your feet some love!

🌞 Summer is here — and so is running season! If you're feeling a sharp pain in your heel with every step, you might be experiencing plantar fasciitis.

So, What Is Plantar Fasciitis?
It is inflammation of the thick band of tissue (the plantar fascia) that runs along the bottom of your foot — and it's one of the most common causes of heel pain.

Overuse, poor footwear, tight calves, or sudden increases in activity (hello, summer runs!) can all trigger plantar fasciitis.

At our clinic, we use targeted massage therapy, chiropractic adjustments, and stretching techniques to relieve pain and support your healing — so you can get back on your feet pain-free.

📅 Book your appointment today and run into summer the right way!
