The Fenerty Wellness team is happy to announce GET back Rehab- Jody Aitken, is joining the team in October.

Jody Aitken
MA, RMT, AT, C, CSCS, D.O.M.P.

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST, ATHLETIC THERAPY, OSTEOPATHIC MANUAL PRACTITIONER

Jody has been a therapist for over 20 years. In Colorado she worked for the Denver Broncos Sports Medicine Clinic. While living in the Cayman Islands she worked and traveled with National teams including football, rugby, swimming, and track and field.

Jody graduated with a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science/Massage Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver and holds a Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado, emphasis in exercise therapy.

She is presently a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Nova Scotia, Canadian College of Osteopathy, and possesses certifications from the National Athletic Trainers Assoc, National Strength and Conditioning Assoc, American College of Sports Medicine and Canadian Fitness Professionals. As an osteopathic manual practitioner, Jody provides treatment for the entire body; through osteopathic technique her treatment interconnects the different areas of the body.

If you have been suffering from an injury that is keeping you from achieving your fitness goals, Jody can help you successfully bridge the gap between the two. “Make Osteopathy part of the training, not a result of…”

Jody practices what she preaches, a fitness regimen that is quite varied and emphasizes balance of mind, body and spirit. She enjoys running, cycling, yoga, and teaching strength training classes.

BIO- Dr. JINYONG JEONG brings over 20 years of experience as a dedicated Chinese medicine practitioner in Korea and China and Nova Scotia (since 2023). In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the body is viewed as a whole and connected to its parts. The goal is not to pursue short-term improvement, but to identify and treat the root cause of the problem to prevent recurrence.

Dr. JINYONG JEONG provides personalized, naturalistic treatment that takes into account the individual’s past and current health history. Dr. JINYONG JEONG prioritizes personalized treatment and takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs while empowering individuals to actively participate in their health and wellness.
