As we head into the festive season, we want to give all our clients a heads up about our hours for the week of December 22nd:

🕛 Monday, December 22nd - 8 am to 6 pm
🕛 Tuesday, December 23rd - 8 am to 6 pm
🎅Wednesday, December 24th - 8 am to 1 pm
🎄 Thursday, December 25th - Closed
✨Friday, December 26th - Closed

We will resume regular hours on Monday, December 29th from 8 am to 6 pm.

Please plan ahead for any medication or food refills, and feel free to reach out if you have questions!

❄ The First Day of Winter is Here! ❄

Winter has officially arrived, and with the colder temperatures come some important risks for our pets. 🐾 Please keep these winter safety tips in mind:

🩺 Hypothermia & Frostbite - Limit time outdoors in extreme cold - especially in senior pets, puppies/kittens, and short-haired or small breeds
🦴 Arthritis Flare-Ups - Cold weather can worsen joint pain and stiffness in pets with arthritis
♥ Cardiac & Respiratory - Pets with heart or respiratory disease may struggle more in cold air
🐾 Paw & Skin Injuries - Ice, snow, and de-icing products can cause cracks, chemical burns, and infections
☠ Toxin Exposure - Antifreeze & ice melts can be highly toxic, even in small amounts
🚑Cold-Related Illness - Prolonged exposure can lead to lethargy, weakness, and decreased appetite.

If your pet has a pre-existing medical condition or you notice any changes in mobility, breathing, or energy levels, please contact us. Early intervention can make a big difference.

To help us better manage the growing number of prescription refills requests - and ensure we provide the careful attention each one deserves - we are updating our prescription processing timeline.

🕛Effective immediately, prescription requests will now require up to 72 business hours to be filled (previously 24 hours).

This change allows our team to review each request thoroughly, prioritize patient safety, and continue offering the high-quality care your pets deserve.

We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to serve you and your pets more efficiently. 💜🐱🐶

One of our clients is missing their dog, Duke, a 2-year-old charcoal-coloured French Bulldog in the Lower Sackville area. Duke was last seen in the last hour.
