✅ Take breaks – Avoid staying in one position too long to prevent strain.

Icy sidewalks can be tricky, but slips and falls are avoidable with the right precautions:
✅ Wear footwear with good treads.
✅ Walk like a penguin—short steps, weight forward.
✅ Use handrails when available.
✅ Stay alert and watch for hidden ice.

We’re reintroducing Sally Shaw, DOMP, our expert in Osteopathic Manual Practice! 🌿✨ With a physiotherapy degree from the University of Toronto (1974) and a diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (2006), Sally brings decades of experience to her treatments.
She specializes in chronic spinal conditions, women’s health, headaches, and TMD (temporal mandibular dysfunction). Currently, Sally focuses solely on osteopathy, offering a holistic approach to help restore balance and function.
Now happily living on a 200-year-old farm in Annapolis County with her husband and three horses, Sally is excited to continue helping her community.

Meet Rachel Phillips (MacDonald), our new Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with 8 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and completed her Massage Therapy diploma with honors in 2016. Rachel specializes in treating a variety of conditions, from musculoskeletal issues to PTSD, using techniques like Swedish Massage, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Nova Scotia with her family. Rachel is passionate about helping her clients feel their best through personalized, compassionate care.
