✨ Newest Addition to the Team ✨

We are so thrilled to welcome Katerine Borak, a Registered Social Worker and Child and Youth Care Practitioner with over 25 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families.

Her academic background includes an M.Ed. and PhD in Leadership, Adult Education, and Community Development, a B.A. in Child and Youth Care, and an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work. 📚

Katherine’s clinical practice has included work in inpatient psychiatry, crisis support, and community-based therapy. She provides individual and family support using person-centred, polyvagal, IFS, CBT, DBT, and ACT-informed approaches, always grounded in trauma-informed and strengths-based care.🙌

Alongside her clinical work, she has extensive teaching and mentoring experience at the college and university level. Katherine is passionate about supporting learning and professional growth, and integrates anti-oppressive practice, Indigenous knowledge, and 2SLGBTQ+ affirming approaches to ensure her work remains responsive, inclusive, and compassionate.

✨ Exciting News! ✨

I’m thrilled to share that Blue Harbour Therapy is moving into a brand new space! 🏡
After wonderful months in my current building, it’s time to grow into a fresh environment where I’ll be working alongside doctors and other health professionals.

This move means more opportunities for collaboration, a supportive community, and ultimately, even better care for clients 🙌

We were honoured to be asked to be a part of this multidisciplinary team, and are forever grateful 💓

📍 New Location: 135 Main St, Penetanguishene (inside the old Scotiabank)

📅 Move-In Date: October 1st, 2026

Your pink will come back 💓💓👏

Flamingos aren’t born pink — they earn it! 🦩
Their iconic color comes from a diet rich in shrimp and algae, packed with beta-carotene. Without it, their feathers fade.

And here's the wild part: Flamingo moms often lose their color while caring for their chicks, as their bodies use up nutrients to nourish their young. Once they’re back to eating well, their vibrant pink hue returns.

💗 A beautiful reminder that even in nature, motherhood is all about giving — and recovery.
