A dear Millbrook family has been hit with the most unimaginable news about their little 3 yr old son, Myles. A client has requested the following information to be shared on behave of the family in hopes to spread the Gofundme around. If you have the means to be able to donate that would be greatly appreciated by all, and if you’re not in the place to do that, please please please help by sharing! 💙💙
“During the weekend of October 18th, 2025, what had started out as an average day turned into every parents worst nightmare. Myles, who is only 3 years old, had collapsed and was unable to stand or acknowledged his surroundings. With his parent's quick actions, they rushed him to the hospital. His blood work showed nothing significant, but his parents knew something wasn't right. The Doctor's decided to run further testing and ordered a CT scan, where a brain tumor was present on his brain stem.
With this news, Myles and his family were packed up and rushed to SickKids Hospital. After a few days of stabilizing Myles went for surgery to have a biopsy done of the tumour. A few days later the news no parent ever wants to hear, he was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma). An aggressive malignant tumour.
Myles was given less than a year life expectancy. Him and his family were supposed be in Toronto for a minimum of 6 weeks while Myles goes through radiation treatment. But unfortunately, Myles took a turn for the worst on Thursday and needed to go for emergency surgery to place a stint, he is currently in PICU sedated and intubated on brain monitory systems. It has been confirmed that he has bacterial meningitis which has put a pause on his radiation treatments and has put him in a more critical state. If Myles survives this infection, their hospital stay and treatments will be prolonged for an unknown time.
I am asking, if you can, donate to support this family while they juggle this unexpectant move. The Jeffery's have also just welcomed a baby girl in September who is with them during this battle. Anything helps to help alleviate the concerns for finances as they need to spend as much time with their son, all the while juggling everyday life, bills, and the increased expense of now having to live in Toronto.”
