With the weekend Snowfall, we thought we would re-share proper❄️snow shoveling, form!

☑️ Before you grab that shovel, warm up those muscles. A quick five-minute warm-up gets your blood flowing and primes your body for action.

☑️ Hold the shovel with hands shoulder-width apart for better leverage. One hand on the handle, the other closer to the blade. Get a good grip before you lift.

☑️ Bend Those Knees! Use your legs, not your back. When lifting, bend your knees, keep your back straight, and lift with your legs. This helps prevent strain on your lower back.

☑️ Avoid twisting at the waist while shoveling. Instead, pivot your whole body to face the direction you’re throwing the snow. Twisting can strain your back.

🌟Bonus Tip: Shoveling is a workout. Take breaks, stay hydrated, and listen to your body. It’s okay to pace yourself.
