I have been in the fitness/training industry for almost 8 years and have certifications in: Certified Personal Training, Pregnancy + Postpartum Athleticism, Kickboxing, Joga, Group Resistance Training + Crossfit Programming. The Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism course was something I became very passionate about after becoming pregnant in 2018 and having our daughter, Brae, in 2019. I decided I wanted to help as many women as I possibly could have an amazing experience like I did, and try to take some of the guesswork out of what goes into a healthy and safe pregnancy and postpartum. My goal is to spread health, wellness, fitness, and love and appreciation for our amazing bodies to mamas and mamas-to-be everywhere. We only get one life to live so we may as well allow ourselves the opportunity to do so with strong, healthy, capable body's. Fitness, health & wellness are my passions and I feel extremely grateful that I get to do what I love every day, with my little sidekick in tow.

this circuit helps you:
• reconnect to your deep core
• decrease symptoms (like leaking or heaviness)
• boost energy + confidence that lasts beyond your workout

WORKOUT:
•seated abductors - 30 seconds
•banded hip lift clamshell - 30 seconds/side
•seated OH press to tricep extension - 30 seconds
•lunge w/ 90 degree lateral raise - 15 seconds/side
•lunge pulse w/ 90 degree hold - 15 seconds/leg
•lunge to kickback + tricep kickback - 30 seconds/leg

3 signs your core isn’t firing properly after babies (+ how to fix it immediately):

•you’re leaking when you cough, sneeze, laugh or lift
Why—core + pelvic floor aren’t coordinating
Fix—daily 360 breathing w/ core + pelvic floor action

•you have a cone or “pooch” during certain movements
Why—deep abs not firing and pressure is pushing out in your midline
Fix—stop doing planks + crunches until it’s more healed // controlled (swap for reverse planks instead)

•low back pain or constantly feeling like your back is about to go out
Why—deep core isn’t keeping your body in proper alignment so the wrong muscles are carrying the load in everyday activities + workouts
Fix—strengthen the core muscles in different positions so they learn to work properly all the time
