Miramichi Community Care is currently looking to hire Personal Support Workers / Resident Attendants for full time, part time and casual employment to join our team.
Job Requirements:
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team player/positive approach
• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Social Development Check
• Completion of Personal Support Worker / Continuing Care Assistant course or six months hands on working experience as a resident attendant
• First Aid & CPR
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts (Days, Nights & Some Weekends)
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with Residents, Colleagues & Management Team
• Time management skills to follow an established schedule
• Experience working in Memory Care would be an asset
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or proof of exemption

Personal Care Attendants
Personal Care Attendants are responsible for providing personal care assistance and companionship to seniors as well as housekeeping duties.
We offer a variety of shifts.
Successful candidates will participate in an On-the-Job training.
We also offer an online training service for PSW.

Qualifications:
Successful completion of Caregiver training and experience working with seniors is considered an asset.
Police Record Check and Social Services Background Check required.
Must have Current CPR and First Aid.
Must have food handlers or willing to take.
Must provide work related references.
