COOKING FOR ONE

Cooking for one can feel like a chore - but it doesn’t have to be. 🍲
Mission Hospice Society is offering a free, four-week cooking class designed for anyone navigating meals solo. We’ll focus on simple, affordable, comforting food and good conversation along the way.

Think: one rotisserie chicken turned into four easy meals, pantry staples that become hearty dinners, and low-effort options for the nights you just don’t feel like cooking.

Mark your calendars! Join us on Sunday, March 29, 2026, for the annual Heritage to Hatzic Road Race in Mission — a fun, local 5K & 10K event for runners of all levels.

📍 Location: Heritage Park Middle School Track

This race takes place three weeks before the Vancouver Sun Run, making it the perfect warm-up, and best of all, all proceeds benefit the Mission Hospice Society 💙.

A safe space to grieve. A place to heal. A room built with love. 💙 If you haven’t seen our grief support rooms yet, this is what compassion looks like.

Over the past year, our team and incredible community volunteers came together to create these dedicated spaces where families can process loss in comfort and privacy.

Every chair placed. Every butterfly hung. Every detail thoughtfully chosen to create a space that says: “You’re safe here. You’re not alone.” 🙏

These rooms have been welcoming families for months now, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make them a reality.

This is where healing happens. Quietly. Gently. Together. 🦋 If you or someone you love needs grief support, please reach out to us.
