Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers — yet too many people are still being diagnosed late.

This Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, we’re encouraging everyone to take a simple step that can make a life-saving difference: get screened.

Cervical screening can find changes early, before they ever become cancer — often with no symptoms at all.

In Ontario, South Asian women are 33% less likely to be screened, and Black women face 2.6x higher odds of being underscreened. Everyone deserves access to life-saving care.

HPV testing is now the main screening method for most people. Learn what you’re eligible for at Cancer Care Ontario.

No family doctor? Carepoint Health’s Cancer Screening Clinic offers cervical, breast, and colon screening for Mississauga residents. Get screened today: www.carepointhealth.ca/patient-services/cancer%20screening
