Caring for others is meaningful work, and it also asks a lot of the nervous system.
I’ve learned that when I take time to reset and regulate my own system, I can show up more present, grounded, and attentive for every patient who walks through the door.

Sound baths have become one of the ways I do that—creating space for stillness, balance, and a deeper exhale.
Self-care isn’t indulgent. It’s what allows me to care well.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, tense, or run down, I’m here and ready to support your care. 💛

Healing works best when you feel heard, supported, and cared for as a whole person.
This is the approach I bring into every treatment — thoughtful, gentle, and individualized.

If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to support your care. 💛

If your back pain could speak… it wouldn’t ask for a quick fix.
It would ask for real relief — the kind that brings movement, calm, and actual progress.

Back pain shows up in so many ways: stiffness, muscle guarding, nerve irritation, that locked-up feeling when you try to bend or twist. It’s frustrating, exhausting, and it can take over your whole routine.

Here’s what your back actually responds to:
• Acupuncture to calm the nervous system + reduce inflammation
• Cupping to decompress tight, overworked muscles
• Myofascial work to restore mobility + circulation
• A treatment that looks at the body as a whole — not just one sore spot

This is the integrative care my patients trust for real pain relief.

If this is what your back has been asking for… let’s give it the care it deserves. 💛

Went to a hammock soundbath this weekend and reached peak relaxation — I fell asleep and my snores joined the soundtrack. 😂

Sound bowls use vibration to calm your nervous system… clearly mine took the hint.

Have you ever done a soundbath — or is this going on your self-care list?

When your BFF is the last patient of the day… the needles help, but the catching up heals too.

We met almost 20 years ago,
and this friendship has carried us through
laughter, tears, and everything in between.
Grateful for this beautiful soul 💛.

Behind me are the stairs where I misjudged the last step and went tumbling down to a fracture.
After 3 weeks in the hospital, I came home to a new daily task on these same stairs: butt-scooting to the upper level just to shower.

If you’ve never had to butt-scoot up stairs to shower, you’re missing a character-building moment.

Now I’m back with two working legs, kissed by my little cheerleader Cassie, reminding me that healing definitely has a sense of humour.

If your healing journey—whether from physical or emotional injuries—has had some unglamorous moments too, welcome to the club. We’ve got grit, humour, and really good stories.

What’s one ‘I can laugh about it now’ moment in your healing journey?

Short-term relief is a visit. Quality of life is a relationship.

This patient has been with me for over 8 years for weekly elbow treatments… and after a recent car accident, we’re now supporting his upper back too.

Life happens. Pain evolves.
And your care should evolve with it. With my integrative approach—traditional Chinese acupuncture and modern complementary therapies—each treatment is adjusted to meet your body exactly where it is today.

If your pain has shifted, changed, or layered over time, you don’t have to manage it alone. I’m here for you. 💛

Getting back to the gym after my fracture was hard… but staying consistent in snowy, freezing weather? That takes every ounce of motivation I have.

And yes — I had the full mental debate on the driveway:
“The road is slippery.”
“Just do yoga later.”
“Your knee is sore.”

But the quieter part of me said:
“Go gently, go slowly — but go.”

So I did.
Not perfectly. Not enthusiastically.
Just… steadily.

And honestly? That’s what healing looks like most days — small steps, tiny returns, choosing yourself even when it’s inconvenient.

What’s one small thing you’re choosing for yourself this week? 💛
