Hi everyone, we’re excited to invite you to our cozy Parent & Child Pom-Pom Wreath Making Event at The Mindful Elephant!

Saturday, December 6, 2025
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Location - The Mindful Elephant Inc. 7050 Pacific Circle, Mississauga. L5T 2A7
$45 per parent & child (fee covers all materials)

This is a lovely chance to connect, create, and make a festive wreath together, perfect for photos, keepsakes, or holiday gifts. We’ll have hot chocolate and cookies to make it extra cozy.

Can’t make it? No problem! We offer Pom-Pom Wreath Kits ($35) that include all materials and step-by-step photo instructions. These kits are perfect to do at home with your child or to gift to someone special.

Paint-a-Pumpkin Family Party! 🎃
Looking back at our event, a beautiful day of creativity, laughter, and family fun! Parents and children painted pumpkins, enjoyed light refreshments, and filled the studio with colour and smiles. Thank you to all the families who joined us and made it so special! 🍂

🌈 Gratitude in Every Brushstroke
Our young artists created beautiful rainbow themed gratitude cards using soft watercolours and their kindest thoughts. Each card was a heartfelt expression of thanks, a mindful blend of colour, emotion, and creativity.

This gentle art practice encouraged children to reflect, appreciate, and share joy with others, all while exploring the calming flow of watercolour painting. 🎨💖

Mediterranean Inspiration in Every Stroke! During Mindful Garden Week, children explored artistic traditions from the Mediterranean coast. Using only white, blue, and yellow, they brought their own unique designs to life on handcrafted clay pots. 💙💛🤍

This mindful art session nurtured creativity, focus, and cultural appreciation, all through the calming process of working with clay.

Summer Camp Highlights - Week 1

We kicked off the week by exploring mindfulness and self-awareness. Campers discovered their “inside weather,” reflected on accountability, and practiced daily check-ins to build emotional insight.

In pottery, we built pinch pots to support focus and calm.
Our weekly project: creating personal weather scales to better understand and express our feelings.
