Join us tomorrow for a Sacred Sound Drum Circle with

Come and drum, rattle, sing, dance, journey, chant, pray or simply... Be.

Cathy Starfire Woman is of the Lenape Nation, Turtle Clan, Six Nations of the Grand River Territories. Starfire Woman has been a drum keeper for 30+ years and has led hundreds of Sacred Sound Circles.

This event takes place in Port Credit. We begin by opening Sacred Space, smudging, and a short Guided Meditation to set our Intentions for the evening. Those desirous of healing are invited to lie on the Buffalo Rug.

Please bring: Drums, rattles, shakers, native flutes, didgeridoos, spirit drums, and other indigenous instruments, your own eco-friendly container of drinking water, your voice, and a friend or 2! Cathy has drums to share, vegan included, and lots of rattles, too!

Energy Exchange: $35.00.

This is an experiential and profound sacred music circle where all levels and instruments are welcome. The intention is to create musicians and even with little or no experience you will be singing and learning new instruments in no time. This is a safe and non-judgmental container where you will feel comfortable to express in anyway that you wish.

Bring your own instruments, if you don't yet have any there will be plenty available to try.

We start with a guided meditation, prayer, gong and crystal bowls to set the space. Every session is different and profound.

Children are welcome and they are free

Community event Water Prayer Despacho featuring Ecuadorian Flutist William from Tribu Music from 2-5 pm

We will be offering a beautiful Sacred Water Prayer Offering Despacho, this ceremonial water offering comes from the Q'ero and Quechua peoples of the Andes and is used to honor Pachamama, Mother Earth and her waters. August 1st just happens to be Pachamama Day so we thought this would be a perfect way to honour her.
