Did you PNEU?

All adults 65+ should receive pnemonia vaccine, but only 42% have actually been vaccinated!

Pnemonia is a serious condition, and can be deadly. Certain people are at higher risk of pneumonia due to their age and/or other risk factors.

There are vaccines available that reduce the risk of having complications related to pneumonia. They are effective. They are save.

Flu season is a good time to update your other immunizations as well.

Pneumonia can be life-threatening, and may require admission to the hospital or intensive care unit.

It can be a serious disease. Your risk of complications increases with age and/or with certain medical conditions (like diabetes, kidney disease, heart conditions, or asthma).

Talk to your pharmacist to learn more about vaccine recommendations that help prevent pneumonia.
