Sakshi has been part of our team for three months, working behind the scenes to keep our finances running smoothly. From posting bank transactions to processing accounts payable, her attention to detail helps ensure everything stays on track.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most important celebrations in Hindu culture and is also observed by Sikh, Jain, and Buddhist communities. Rooted in history and tradition, Diwali symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair.

Families celebrate by lighting diyas (lamps), decorating homes with rangoli, sharing sweets, and coming together in joy and gratitude. It is a time to reflect, renew, and strengthen the bonds of love and community.

We embrace the spirit of Diwali by honouring connection, compassion, and the light that shines when people come together to care for one another.

We wish everyone celebrating to be filled with peace, joy, and prosperity.

They came, they raced, they inspired! 15 teams and more than 80 people came together on October 8th to participate in our inaugural Bed Race at Sherwood Village. This event provided funds for essential hospice programs and services in Mississauga.

Exciting Opportunity – Join Our Team!

We are looking for a skilled professional to join Hospice Mississauga as a Children and Youth Grief Counsellor for our HUUG Program. This is a Maternity Leave contract (with potential of up to 18 months).

You will join a caring team of professionals with flexibility in scheduling.

If you have the skills, education and experience to provide compassionate grief support to children and youth and have access to a vehicle for travel within Mississauga and Brampton, this may be the opportunity for you.

For clarity, this is not a remote position and the ability to travel to and work out of the office at 1-855 Matheson Boulevard East is required.
