Learning about cultural humility in ABA has been a powerful reminder that we are not the “experts” in someone else’s life or culture. Working with Indigenous communities means listening more, questioning our assumptions, and respecting histories and perspectives that shape each family’s experience.
We also explored a simple but meaningful approach to difficult conversations:
✨ pausing
✨ focusing on the relationship
✨ respond with openness and intention

Did you know only 20% of businesses are female-owned?
That’s why it was so powerful to be in a room filled with women entrepreneurs across industries, from healthcare and femtech to construction (which by the way, is booming!)
Grateful to and for believing in our story and vision by selecting us for the mentorship program. We’re so excited for what’s ahead.
And a special thank you to —we can’t wait for this opportunity!

Because we see the need! Initial meetings with families typically led parents to express their confusion with the system and concern for what their future would hold. We create a welcoming space where families are able to find the information they need. If we don't have the answers we will provide direction on where to find them.
