This infection is caused by dermatophytes which thrive in warm, moist environments, like locker rooms, swimming pools and even your shoes!
This infection affects about 15% of the general population and can cause burning or itchiness in between the toes.

Peripheral neuropathy or nerve damage is a common complication of diabetes, which can affect the hands and especially the feet!

Nerve damage in the feet can result in burning, tingling and eventual numbness in the affected area. This loss of protective sensation can leave patients with the inability to detect stimuli or pressure under their feet, resulting in deep wounds or ulcerations!

Covid-19 Update: Our clinic will be open for all essential care on May 25! We are thrilled to get back to helping our patients 🙂
Here are some of the changes we will be implementing..
✔️Triple screening all patients and staff members
✔️All appointments must be pre-booked. No walk-ins at this time.
✔️Universal mask policy. Homemade/cloth masks acceptable
✔️All staff and patients will have their temperature taken upon entry into the clinic
✔️Hand sanitizer use required and will be provided
✔️All practitioners will be wearing full PPE
✔️Plexiglass-glass barriers installed in reception area
✔️Already rigorous infection control practices will be enhanced
