There are many reasons, here are just a few:
- It can provide more options and inclusion for people with disabilities and older adults to get around.
- The micromobility devices such as e-bikes, e-scooters, senior buggies and others are a lot more affordable than a car.
- Micromobility devices are better for the environment than cars.

At Access 2 Accessibility's through our Adaptive & Inclusive Micromobility (AIM) program we are bringing the voices of people with disabilities and older adults as part of our goal for Moveable Inclusive Cities & Communities (MICC).

was pleased to join other community organizations at Councillor Chris Fonseca's Seniors Fair. As Clr. Fonseca stated that at this time of year many seniors may feel isolated, thus a free event like this can offer social interaction. We were serenaded by The Heartland Singers, learned how to do chair yoga, learned about safety from the Mississauga Fire Dept. and Safe City Mississauga. Attendees enjoyed going to various exhibitor tables to learn about community services for seniors, such as Region of Peel TransHelp and Miway bus passes.
