Our stunning patient is fully healed from her breast augmentation 👙😍

There’s nothing better than seeing that confidence shine through once healing is complete. New shape, balanced proportions, and results that look natural and feel like you.

We know the excitement kicks in fast. Vacations get booked. Swimsuits get ordered. But proper healing always comes first.

After surgery:
🌊 Baths, swimming pools, hot tubs, and saunas should be avoided until your surgeon clears you.
🌊 For most patients, that means waiting several weeks, often around one month, before fully submerging incisions.

Protecting your incisions early on supports optimal healing and helps ensure the best long-term result.

And when you are cleared for that sun-filled holiday, don’t forget SPF, especially on surgical scars. UV exposure can cause hyperpigmentation and affect how scars mature. Protection now means better scar quality later.

Beautiful results are a partnership between surgery and aftercare.

1 month post-op revision arm lift ✨

Not all arm lifts are created equal.

This patient previously underwent a short scar arm lift with a transverse scar hidden in the armpit. While that technique can work in very select cases, it does not address circumferential skin excess and often results in limited improvement.

In her case, loose and wrinkled skin remained most noticeable when her arms were at her sides, particularly near the armpit. To properly correct this, she required a revision using a longitudinal excision to remove the circumferential excess.

Now, at just 1 month post-op, there is no loose skin adjacent to the armpit and the transition from chest to arm is significantly sharper and more defined, especially when the arm is lifted away from the body.

She has an L-shaped scar, which is expected with this technique. It will continue to lighten, and become more inconspicuous over the first year.

The right technique matters. Thoughtful revision can make all the difference. DM us to book your free consultation.

Not quite ready for a facelift? No problem ✨

Dr. Lista explains why Sofwave can be an excellent option for patients who want visible tightening but are not quite ready for surgery.

For patients noticing early heaviness along the jawline, subtle neck laxity, or mild brow descent, Sofwave offers a way to address those changes sooner rather than later. It allows you to stimulate collagen, create lift, and improve firmness without incisions or a surgical recovery.

It is ideal for:
▫️ Patients with mild to moderate laxity
▫️ Those wanting to be proactive
▫️ Anyone exploring options before committing to surgery
▫️ Patients maintaining previous surgical results

A facelift is incredibly effective, but for the right person. Sometimes it is not about doing the most. It is about doing what is appropriate for where you are right now.

Thoughtful planning always leads to the most natural, long term results 🤍

A breast augmentation should look beautiful.

But how it moves? That’s just as important.

A truly great result isn’t just about size or shape. It’s about proportion, softness, and how the breast moves with your body. When you walk, shift, or lie down, the movement should feel fluid and natural, not stiff or fixed.

Natural breast dynamics are something we prioritize in every patient. Implant selection, pocket placement, and surgical technique all play a role in achieving a result that not only looks balanced in photos, but feels harmonious in real life.

Because the goal isn’t just enhancement. It’s enhancement that moves like you.

Let's set the record straight.

While aesthetics are often what people see first, plastic surgery frequently addresses real physical challenges that impact everyday life. Breathing difficulties, chronic discomfort, asymmetry, mobility issues, and congenital or acquired conditions can all affect how someone feels and functions on a daily basis.

For many patients, surgery means improved breathing, reduced pain, better balance and movement, or restoring form after injury, illness, or childbirth.

Our goal is to support an experience where you can move through the world feeling comfortable, capable, and at ease in your own skin.

Plastic surgery is about thoughtful problem solving, long term planning, and outcomes that support both function and form. When done well, it can be truly life changing.

She is shown here at 2 months post-op. Swelling will continue to improve over the next year, with even more refinement to come as healing progresses.

Volume up 🔊 Dr. Lista breaks down subfascial breast augmentation and how strategic fat grafting can make all the difference, especially for thinner patients with less natural tissue.

Subfascial placement sits over the muscle but under the fascia, allowing for more natural movement while avoiding some of the animation deformity you can see with under-the-muscle implants. And when we add fat grafting? That extra layer of coverage helps soften edges, reduce rippling, and create a smoother, more refined result.

It’s not just about choosing an implant. It’s about choosing the right plane, the right technique, and the right surgeon.

Beautiful results are built on thoughtful planning with a team of experts 🤍

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing long term results ✨

This patient came to us unhappy with her profile, nasal deviation, a bulbous tip, and nasal airway obstruction. Her goal was a more refined, feminine nose that still looked natural and balanced with her features.

She underwent rhinoplasty to smooth and straighten the profile, create symmetrical dorsal aesthetic lines, and refine the tip while maintaining a natural appearance. She is shown here 9 years post op, with an elegant result that continues to complement and enhance her face.

Long term outcomes like this highlight the importance of thoughtful surgical planning and precise ex*****on.

Recovery after surgery is not just about rest and wound care. Nutrition plays a real role in how your body heals.

Certain vitamins support tissue repair, collagen production, and immune function, but more is not always better. Some supplements can interfere with surgical safety, especially when taken in high doses or at the wrong time.

Vitamin A supports skin cell growth and tissue repair.
Vitamin C supports collagen production and incision healing.
Vitamin D supports immune function (many Canadians are deficient).
Vitamin E is an antioxidant, but in higher doses it can thin the blood and may not be appropriate around surgery.

This is why supplementation should never be a guessing game. Recovery plans should be tailored to the procedure and the patient, especially for surgeries with longer incisions or higher healing demands such as post weight loss body contouring.

Before surgery, always disclose all supplements you are taking. Your surgical team can guide what is helpful, what to avoid, and how to support healing safely before recovery begins. Learn more: https://www.theplasticsurgeryclinic.ca/blog/how-nutrition-supports-healing-after-plastic-surgery/

Life changing results by ✨

This transformation goes far beyond aesthetics. This patient underwent reconstructive surgery to correct a congenital anomaly that affected both shape and symmetry. Her treatment included implants for balance, a lollipop lift on the right to correct drooping, and an internal release on the left to address a contracted tuberous shape.

Outcomes like this highlight the power of thoughtful, patient centered reconstructive surgery and why this work is so meaningful to our team 🤍

Thank you to our beautiful patient for placing her trust in us!
