It was our General Manager Angela’s last day at Robert Speck, and while our hearts are sad they are also full of gratitude for everything she has given to our staff and residents. Angela’s kindness, leadership, and genuine care have made a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.

We celebrated her in style with a party to show our appreciation and in true Angela fashion, she treated all staff to Blizzards as a heartfelt thank you. That’s just who she is, thoughtful, generous, and always putting others first.

Angela, you will be deeply missed, but we know you are on to amazing things. The team at Chartwell Waterford is incredibly lucky to have you as their new General Manager.

As we continue to focus on Health and Wellness for the month of March, we held a Wellness Fair at our residence with vendors that proudly serve our residents in-house. From informative presentations and repair service clinics to exercise workshops throughout the day, it was a wonderful opportunity to support the wellbeing of our community. Residents also enjoy a little take home gift for participating in our workshops and putting their Wellness first!

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Jeff, a master in Tai Chi, who led an inspiring workshop for our staff and residents. He shared the authentic art of Tai Chi and demonstrated how its gentle movements, mindful breathing, and balance-focused practice can greatly benefit seniors.

From improving flexibility and strength to supporting relaxation and overall well-being, Tai Chi offers so many positive benefits for healthy aging. Our residents truly enjoyed learning and experiencing this beautiful practice together.

Residents enjoyed a relaxing spa retreat morning filled with herbal tea, hydrating face masks, and exfoliating hand masks. The calming surroundings and soothing aromatherapy created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and self-care.

Everyone also enjoyed homemade lavender hand soap and refreshing lip balm as a special take-home treat. Residents left feeling both refreshed and relaxed after a wonderful morning of pampering.

Bianca spends her days helping seniors plan for their future retirement residence here at RobertSpeck, so today we made sure she took a little time to celebrate her special day.

As we **March into Wellness**, we’re proving that exercise doesn’t have to feel like work… sometimes it just takes a little **country music and a two-step!** 🤠

This afternoon we jumped on the bandwagon and got some extra steps in with a little **line dancing to “Wagon Wheel.”** 💃🕺

Heart pumping, steps adding up, smiles all around — now *that’s* our kind of workout!

**Healthy bodies, happy hearts, and a whole lotta YEE HAW!** 🎶🤠
