🎄 Ugly Christmas Sweater Day Fun! 🎄
Yesterday was Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, and it was a blast! Residents and staff truly got into the fun and the holiday spirit, showing off their festive shirts and sweaters. Some residents even made their own! ❤️🎅 Followed by a carol sing A-long🎵
The creativity, laughter, and holiday cheer made the day extra special.

Some of you may not know that our Lifestyle & Programs Manager Nadine is also a vocal music teacher. ❤️
She decided to form a choir with our residents so she could share her knowledge, passion, and love of music with them.

The Robert Speck Choir began in November, and since then they’ve been working hard on a few beautiful pieces. Today, they performed for our fellow residents at our holiday sing-along, and it was truly special.

We’re excited to share one of the pieces from today’s performance with you. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them—their dedication, courage, and joy shine through in their music. 🎶✨

🎨 Welcome to the Robert Speck Resident Art Gallery Showing! 🍷🧀

At the end of each year, we host a Wine & Cheese Gallery Showing featuring the incredible artwork created by our residents. Family members are invited to come and see what their loved ones have been working on throughout the year—whether through one of the programs we offer or their own personal creations.

We are proud to have so many talented artists here at our residence. This event gives them a special place to showcase their work and inspires other residents to join in and explore our art programs.

What better way to give back to our community than seniors helping seniors? 🎁

Our amazing residents put together Smile Boxes for Santas for Seniors, an organization that delivers these special gifts to individuals living in long-term care homes—ensuring they feel remembered, appreciated, and loved this Christmas. 🎄✨ Some of the items are hand knit socks donated by families in our community and hand knit scarves from our lovely knitting club along with a few other goodies!

We are so proud of the kindness, teamwork, and joy shared in making this happen! 💖

✨ Holiday Magic at Chartwell Robert Speck! ✨

Family and friends joined us for our annual Holiday Party at Chartwell Robert Speck, and there was fun for all ages! The big man in red himself arrived — Santa and Mrs. Claus — spreading holiday cheer and taking photos with residents and their loved ones. 🎅🤶❤️

We were treated to an amazing performance by the ever-so-talented Noah Kosta from Canada’s Got Talent, filling the room with his beautiful crooner tones. 🎤✨

The grandchildren enjoyed crafting their very own holiday ornaments to take home as special keepsakes, while Chef Victor and our culinary team prepared delicious holiday treats for everyone. 🍪🎄

A heartfelt thank-you to the entire team at Chartwell Robert Speck for coming together to make this event so memorable and full of holiday spirit. ❤️💫 and many thanks to our beloved community and their families joining us today. Happy Holiday's!

🎄💚 Grinch Day was a big hit! 💚🎄
From our Whoville trivia showdown to the delishhh Grinchmas float bar, today was full of giggles, green treats, and just a sprinkle of mischief on a Walmart outing this morning 😄🎁

Our Grinchmas Floats were the star of the show—vanilla ice cream, fizzy lime kiwi soda. Simple, sweet, and so Seuss-ishly silly! 💕✨

And of course, in true Whoville spirit:
“Even the grinchiest days can grow a little brighter when shared with a Who or two.” 💚✨

Hope your heart grew a few sizes today, too! 💗💗💗
