Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to our sister community, Chartwell Martha's Landing Retirement Residence in Burlington, for a lively afternoon of Music Bingo and Mingle 🎶

It was a fun-filled event complete with great music, delicious snacks, exciting prizes, and plenty of laughter shared all around. Our group had a fantastic time connecting with residents from Martha’s Landing and enjoying a vibrant afternoon of friendly competition and community spirit.

From new connections and shared smiles, it was a beautiful reminder that joy is truly ageless - and thrives in every moment we spend together in community.

We’re so grateful for opportunities like these that bring our communities together and create meaningful, joy-filled experiences 💙

We were truly honoured to host a special Volunteer Appreciation Celebration in partnership with Trillium Health Partners on April 23 💙

Held during National Volunteer Week (April 19–25), the afternoon was a meaningful opportunity to recognize the incredible volunteers from Queensway Health Centre and Mississauga Hospital - individuals who make a lasting impact in our community every single day.

From live piano music and signature mocktails to a wine tasting experience and time spent connecting, the event was designed to celebrate, thank, and create lasting memories. We were thrilled to open our doors and showcase the warmth, hospitality, and care that define our community.

We were so grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who give so much. Thank you to all the volunteers for your compassion, dedication, and the difference you make every day ✨

🎬🍿 National Film Day at Chartwell Regency! 🍿🎬

We had a fantastic turnout as we celebrated National Film Day with a very special presentation from one of our own residents, Ray!

Ray, a long-time producer for the iconic CBC television panel show Front Page Challenge, took us on a trip down memory lane by sharing a clip from the program, offering insight and stories from his years behind the scenes.

Following the clip, residents enjoyed a screening of The Great Escape, making for a perfect afternoon of classic television and film.

It was a wonderful event filled with nostalgia, storytelling, and great company. Thank you to everyone who joined us—and a special thank you to Ray for making the day so memorable!

Ray's passion and enthusiasm is a true reminder that joy is ageless here at Chartwell Regency.

In February, we were delighted to host a special Family Day photography event for our residents 💛

As part of this experience, our team was proud to go the extra step by printing and framing each resident’s portrait—creating a special keepsake for them to cherish.

When the photographs were returned, the smiles said it all. It was truly heartwarming to see residents light up as they held their beautifully framed portraits, capturing a moment just for them.

These keepsakes are a wonderful reflection of the pride, joy, and sense of belonging we are so grateful to foster within our community.
