Today at Ivan Franko Homes - Mississauga, we gathered to honour Remembrance Day.
Our residents came together to reflect and pay tribute to all who fought for peace and freedom around the world.

We also remembered our past and present Ukrainian soldiers and their ongoing sacrifices defending Ukraine’s independence.

We were honoured to welcome two Canadian Cadets, brothers Mark and Artem Kyrylko who joined us to distribute poppies and pay tribute to the fallen heroes.

Respect. Reflect. Remember.

Today at Ivan Franko Long-Term Care Home, our residents enjoyed a wonderful concert by Derrick Ng, a talented Canadian musician from Toronto whose heart, spirit, and artistry have beautifully connected with Ukrainian culture and music.

We are grateful to Derrick for sharing his gift of music and for embracing Ukrainian culture with such sincerity and warmth. 💛💙🎶

We are touched by the story of Cris Okihiro and Randy, who have dedicated their time to bring beautiful bouquets to our residents at Ivan Franko LTC Home—not just once, but twice, and we hope many more times to come. Their generosity and thoughtfulness have left a lasting impression on our Ivan Franko Homes family and reminded us all of the power of kindness. 💛
We are so grateful that people with hearts like theirs are part of our IFH community.
