Long Term Care Home – 767 Royal York Rd, Etobicoke. This residence has three floors with a total of 68 units.

Assisted Living/Retirement Residence – 3058 Winston Churchill Blvd.,Mississauga The Ivan Franko Long-Term Care Home is located at 767 Royal York Road, in the heart of Etobicoke and is a long-term care facility with on-site nursing. Ivan Franko Homes’ Mississauga residence is located at 3058 Winston Churchill Blvd., serving approximately 80 residents who are independent and do not need 24-hour medical care. In 2013 and 2016, our commitment to the highest quality care standards was recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) through our receiving a three-year accreditation, the longest period possible for an initial designation for retirement and care centres.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special exhibition — it was a truly warm and meaningful evening.

A special thank you to James Carswell— musician, teacher, founder of Carswell Music Studios, and a resident and dedicated supporter of Ivan Franko Homes — whose idea it was to bring this beautiful exhibition to life. Jim’s ongoing contributions to our community have been truly meaningful, from launching intergenerational piano classes and performing for residents to supporting fundraising efforts for our Centre for Aging and Longevity. His recognition with the Ontario Senior Achievement Award this past June reflects that impact.

This exhibition featured two remarkable collections:
Spring Impressions by Iryna Petryk — a vibrant series capturing the beauty and energy of spring, and
Everyday Canadians by James Carswell — a heartfelt collection portraying the people and stories that shape our communities.

We are also deeply grateful to Iryna Petryk for her generous donation of her artwork in support of our Centre for Aging and Longevity — a truly meaningful gift.

Thank you as well to Olya Vovnysh, CEO of Ivan Franko Homes, for her leadership and for joining us to mark this special evening.

It was wonderful to see so many friends, families, and supporters come together in support of the New Campus of Care.

A master class on decorating Pysanka was recently held at Ivan Franko Long-Term Care Home with Iryna Boledziuk. Residents explored the rich symbolism behind each design, the beauty of Easter decorations, and the traditions found in every detail - each element reflecting the history, heritage, and deep spirit of Ukrainian culture. During the workshop, residents carefully created their own pysanky, selecting patterns and colors that carry deep cultural meaning and celebrate the beauty and strength of Ukrainian traditions.
