Being intentional about how we want to interact with others and the motivations that drive us is very important.
Nature, is more so structured around symbiosis, mutual-aid, cooperation, and alliances within complex and diverse communities rather than competition and coercion.
If anyone wants to answer, I would love to hear your thoughts about how we as humans might more deeply embody these above mentioned ideals, so that our communities, neighborhoods, and relationships become nourished with our efforts?

*Interestingly, the definitions of nature mentioned above were adapted from the below linked definition of anarchism in the 1910 Encyclopedia Brittanica.
Lastly, this post is not about political motivations but rather finding the parts within us that keep us from more deeply connecting with others.

Our language plays a huge role in shaping mental health, both for ourselves and others. The words we use can influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Positive, affirming language can foster self-esteem, resilience, and emotional well-being, while negative or critical language can reinforce self-doubt, anxiety, and depression.

The same is true when we speak to others, our words can provide support or cause harm. Compassionate, empathetic communication helps build trust and emotional safety, whereas harsh, judgmental, or dismissive language can deepen feelings of isolation and distress. The language we choose to describe experiences, either to ourselves or others, can either empower or limit, highlighting the deep connection between words and mental health.
We cannot change the past but we can commit to speaking to ourselves and others in a nourishing way today.
