At Beyond 20/20 Optometry, we’re always looking for new ways to help our community see their very best… and today, we’re so excited to finally share what we’ve been working on behind the scenes 🐾
✨ We are officially expanding our Vision Therapy program to include our FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS! ✨

That’s right! Starting today, we will be offering specialized vision therapy for dogs 🐶👓
Does your pup:
• Lose track of the ball mid-fetch? 🎾
• Struggle with depth perception when jumping on the couch?
• Have trouble focusing on squirrels (a serious concern)? 🌳🐿️

Our highly trained team is now ready to help improve your dog’s visual skills, tracking, and focus — because every good boy and girl deserves 20/20 vision too.
We’ve even introduced:
🐕 Treat-based fixation training
🐕 Tail-wag tracking exercises
🐕 Advanced squirrel-awareness programs
Spots are limited, but belly rubs are unlimited.

We are beyond proud to share that this past Saturday, March 28th, Beyond 20/20 Optometry hosted our 5th annual SPECtacular Kids Day! 👓✨

Our incredible team volunteered their time to welcome 30 amazing kids in need from local schools and the Boys & Girls Club of Moncton, to receive complimentary eye exams and glasses.
Over the years, this event has grown into something truly special — we’ve now helped over 200 children in our community see more clearly, supporting their confidence, learning, and everyday life. 💙
Seeing the smiles, excitement, and impact firsthand reminds us exactly why we do what we do.
A huge thank you to our dedicated team, together we’re making a meaningful difference. One pair of glasses at a time. 👓

🤠 The Mystery Has Been Revealed… 🔎

Last week we hinted that our team at Beyond 20/20 Optometry was having a mystery team building event… and now the secret is out!
We spent the afternoon in the Old West taking part in a Western-themed Murder Mystery 🐎

The saloon was lively, the suspects were suspicious, and let’s just say there were a few surprising detectives in the group!
It was a fantastic day filled with laughs, teamwork, and a little friendly sleuthing. To top it all off, a few awards were handed out to some of our standout outlaws for their acting, detective work, and commitment to their wild west characters. 🏆🤠
Events like this help bring our team closer together so we can continue providing the best care possible for our patients.

*Clinic Hours Update: Friday, March 13th*
Beyond 20/20 Optometry will be closed today from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM for a team building event.

What are we doing, you might ask? 🤔
Let’s just say… it’s a bit of a mystery. 🕵️‍♂️

Our team is spending the afternoon together building stronger connections so we can continue providing the best care possible in the clinic. We appreciate your understanding while we take this time as a team.

✨ Giving back to our community ✨

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our patients, we are proud to share that 320 pairs of donated glasses have been collected and given to the Moncton Lions Club 👓

These glasses will be carefully sorted and distributed to individuals in need around the world. Something as simple as a pair of glasses can truly change a life: helping someone see clearly at school, perform their job, read a book, or navigate their daily life with greater confidence and independence.

For many people, access to vision care and eyewear is limited. Through programs supported by organizations like the Lions Clubs International, donated glasses are able to reach communities where they can make a meaningful difference.

We are incredibly grateful to our patients for continuing to support this initiative. Your donations are helping bring clearer vision and new opportunities to people who need it most.

We’re incredibly proud to be a partner of the Université de Moncton and the Blue Eagles 🦅
Today we’re celebrating one of our amazing Beyond 20/20 athletes, David, and his incredible comeback after recovering from a concussion. His hard work, patience, resilience, and heart throughout rehab have truly paid off — and it’s been an honour to be part of his journey back to doing what he loves.
Let’s just say… his vision on the ice is looking sharp again 👀🏒
And even better, we see a bright future ahead for him.
Way to go, David — you inspire us all!💙

Athlètes de la semaine IRM Moncton MRI – UMoncton

Félicitations à Jasmine Allain et David Doucet, nommés athlètes de la semaine IRM Moncton MRI à l’Université de Moncton! 🔵🟡

🏐 Jasmine Allain – Aigles Bleues (volleyball) a joué un rôle clé lors des deux matchs en Nouvelle-Écosse. Elle a totalisé 36 digs et avec une moyenne de 4,49 digs par manche, elle se classe au premier rang de U SPORTS.

🏒 David Doucet - Aigles Bleus (hockey) s’est démarqué avec une production offensive solide : un but et une passe samedi. Il a aussi ajouté une mention d’aide vendredi soir, jouant un rôle important dans l’attaque des Aigles Bleus.

We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our amazing patients for making this year’s clinic toy drive such a success! Because of your generosity, we were able to donate over 60 toys to What Kids Need Moncton Inc 💝. Your kindness will help bring joy to many children this holiday season, and we are so grateful for everyone who participated.

✨ Holiday Hours Update:
• We will be closing early on Monday December 22nd at 12:00 PM for our clinic Christmas celebration
• The clinic will then be closed for the remainder of the week (Dec 23 - Dec 28)
• We will reopen on Monday, December 29th

To kick off the celebrations, Dr. Ryan went all out and got dressed up as a Labubu, and we even decked out a walker for him—because nothing says “birthday fun” like a little extra flair! 🐾✨

This past weekend, Alyssa, Justin, Dr. Burns and Dr. Ryan had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Special Olympics bowling event on Prince Edward Island, and what an unforgettable experience it was!

As part of the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes Program, we helped conduct visual exams on over 80 amazing athletes, ensuring they have the eye care they need to perform at their best. From checking vision and eye health to fitting glasses where needed, it was all about supporting these inspiring individuals and helping remove barriers to good health.

Each athlete brought their energy, determination, and smiles, and we were honored to play a small part in their journey. We're grateful to Special Olympics PEI for the opportunity and to our incredible volunteers who gave their time, expertise, and heart.

These athletes reminded us what true dedication looks like. We left feeling inspired, proud, and more committed than ever to making a difference in our community.
