We’ve all heard of fight or flight.
Maybe even freeze.

But there’s another stress response that doesn’t get talked about enough…
the fawn response.

This is when your body is telling you no…
but you say yes anyway.

You go along with things.
You keep the peace.
You avoid conflict.
You push through.

And every time you don’t listen to what you need…
you’re slowly abandoning yourself.

You’re overriding your needs to feel safe.

A lot of us learned to do this early on.
It helped us stay connected, accepted, or protected.
But over time, it can leave your nervous system feeling exhausted, dysregulated, and unsafe in your own body.

So the next time you notice it…
pause.
Take a breath.
Check in.
“What do I actually need right now?”

Maybe you still choose to go forward, but more slowly, more honestly.

Or maybe you give yourself permission to stop.
Either way… you’re starting to come back to yourself, and I am proud of you🤍

A gentle reminder to slow down and notice what brings you to life ✨

So often, we move through our days on autopilot, disconnected from what actually lights us up. But your body knows. There are subtle cues; ease, warmth, curiosity, a sense of expansion, that point you toward what’s meaningful and safe for you.

This week, try to notice those moments. Follow them, even in small ways.

Stress doesn’t just affect the mind.

It can show up in the body too.

When stress stays unresolved, the nervous system can remain in protection mode:

→ Stress
→ Nervous system activation
→ Stress hormones increase
→ Muscles tighten and brace
→ Pain pathways become more sensitive
→ Chronic symptoms

This is why stress can sometimes show up as things like back pain, headaches, jaw tension, digestive issues, or fatigue.

This doesn’t mean symptoms are imagined.

It means the nervous system may be under too much pressure for too long.

The hopeful part: the brain and body can learn safety again.

La respiration consciente est devenue une de mes pratiques quotidiennes préférées pour soutenir mon système nerveux.

Ça m’aide à être plus présente, plus calme dans mon corps et plus claire dans ma tête, surtout dans les périodes plus chargées.

C’est pas une question de forcer ou de se “réparer”.
C’est créer un sentiment de sécurité dans le corps pour permettre au système nerveux de se déposer.

Nous adorons partager ce travail avec les autres. Si tu ressens l’appel, ça nous ferait vraiment plaisir de t'accueillir demain. 🤍

Rather than relying on insight or analysis alone, it uses the breath to engage patterns, emotions, and responses held beneath conscious thought, allowing the body to participate in the process of change.

This is an active, guided experience that may involve sensation, emotion, and insight, while also supporting regulation and a return to a steadier state.

It’s offered with structure, monitoring, and intention — as one pathway toward deeper self-connection.

Plutôt que de passer seulement par l’analyse ou la réflexion, le souffle permet d’accéder à des émotions, des réactions et des schémas qui vivent sous le niveau conscient, en laissant le corps participer au processus de changement.

I’ll be honest, 2025 was the wildest year of my life.

I took some of the biggest leaps toward building the life I truly want… and also some of the scariest.

Doing that while balancing motherhood, work, and just life required more courage, patience, and self-trust than I expected.

This year stretched me.
It challenged me.
And it grew me, deeply.

Most of that growth happened quietly, behind closed doors. No big announcements. No perfectly curated moments. Just a lot of inner work, hard decisions, and learning how to stay grounded while everything around me expanded.

🌱 So here’s to the people who became closer to who they want to be, silently or slowly.
🌱 Here’s to those who realized they need to make changes and are sitting in that uncomfortable in-between.
🌱 And here’s to those who feel exactly where they want to be right now, that matters too.

They developed for a reason.
They were born in moments where your body said:

“I need to survive.”

When these parts show up, it’s not failure.

And when we meet these parts with compassion instead of shame?

They soften.
They finally exhale.
