Important update:

This was my last week at Station15 and we are flipping the page to a new chapter! I feel so lucky to have been surrounded by such a supporting group. Thank you for letting me be apart of Station15 ❤️❤️

I have recently joined the EASTND Moncton team!! 😌💖 I am so thrilled to be sharing this exciting news with all of you! I will be working at the Victoria Street location, ready for all your acupuncture needs ✨

What to expect during your acupuncture appointment 💫

- If it is your first acupuncture appointment.. (welcome and I’m so glad you are here 😌) The very first initial appointment will run longer than any follow up appointment. This is because we want to go over questions in depth and gain a proper medical history before proceeding.

- Tongue 😛 yes it’s true, we do want to see your tongue. The tongue gives us an idea of what’s happening internally within your body. It helps us determine if there’s an organ that is waiving a red flag to us. Things that I pay close attention to are the shape, colour, coating, moisture and if there’s any cracks on the tongue.

- Digestion. During the intake process, we will want to ask you questions about your bowel movements. We want to know about your p**p and how regular you are. We may even ask about the consistency. It’s completely normal and nothing to be embarrassed about. Everyone p**ps 💩

- Questions that don’t relate to your main complaint or reason for your appointment. We may ask questions that don’t sound relevant. However in TCM it makes sense because everything is weirdly connected. Trust your acupuncturist 🤓

- Needling. The most common question I have is if they are going to feel the needles. The size of the needles is so thin, you may or may not feel them go through the skin. That’s okay if you don’t. You may however feel certain types of sensation when the needles are in such as a tingling effect, itchiness, or heaviness. All of these feelings are perfectly fine and nothing to be alarmed about.
