🚧 Summer Is Coming… Is Your Construction Site Secure? 🔒

As the weather warms up, construction season ramps up across the city. Longer days mean more progress but they also bring increased risks that many site managers overlook.

With more activity comes more opportunity for theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Expensive tools, heavy machinery, and raw materials are prime targets, especially after hours when sites are left unattended.

👷‍♂️ This is where professional security guards make a real difference.

Having trained guards on-site doesn’t just deter crime it actively protects your investment. A visible presence alone can discourage trespassers, while routine patrols ensure nothing goes unnoticed. From monitoring access points to responding quickly to suspicious activity, security guards help keep your project on track and stress-free.

📊 Summer also tends to see a spike in:

- Equipment theft
- Material loss
- Trespassing and liability risks

Without proper security, one incident can delay timelines and cost thousands.

✅ Peace of mind
✅ Asset protection
✅ Safer work environment

If you’re managing or developing a construction project this season, don’t wait until something happens. Prevention is always cheaper than damage control.

Secure your site. Protect your investment. Build with confidence this summer.

🚧 L’été arrive… Votre chantier est-il sécurisé ? 🔒

🚨 Montreal Businesses: Are You Protected?
Extortion and violence targeting local businesses have been a growing concern across Montreal, from firebombings to intimidation tactics.

This week, Montreal police announced Project Aurora, a new initiative specifically designed to prevent these crimes before they happen. And early results? Already promising.
So far, the force says it has arrested 20 people, many of whom are between the ages of 14 and 17.

This is a step in the right direction, but police response is only one piece of the puzzle. Criminal threats don't wait for backup to arrive.

Here's what every Montreal business owner should be doing RIGHT NOW to protect themselves:
✅ Assess your vulnerabilities: lighting, entry points, and blind spots on camera
✅ Train your staff on how to recognize and report suspicious behaviour.
✅ Build a direct line of communication with local law enforcement
✅ Have a clear incident response plan BEFORE something happens
✅ Work with a professional security partner who knows the local threat landscape
We work with Montreal businesses every day to help them stay safe, stay open, and stay confident. Whether you're a restaurant owner, a retailer, or managing a commercial property, you deserve to feel secure.

Is Your Business Being "Scouted"? 🏢👀

Here are the 3 things they scout for before targeting a business:

1️⃣ They Recognize Patterns: They watch your staff. Do you close at exactly 6:01 PM every day? Does the back door stay propped open during deliveries? They are looking for the exact window when your building is most vulnerable.

2️⃣ Passive vs. Active Security: A camera is just a "movie" of the crime after it happens. Burglars look for signs that your security is monitored. If they see burnt-out lights or damaged fences that haven't been fixed, they know nobody is truly watching.

3️⃣ The "Smash & Grab" Visibility: Can they see high-value inventory or copper-rich HVAC units from the street? If your assets are visible and unsecured, you’ve already done half their job for them.

The best way to stop a burglary before it happens is through active physical patrols and random site checks, ensuring a professional human response is always there to challenge a threat when a camera can only record it. ✅

Votre entreprise est-elle « surveillée » ? 🏢👀

FUN FACT!: Did you know that in Montreal, we are currently averaging 14 break-ins every single day? 🚨
Since the start of 2026, the SPVM has already recorded nearly 1,000 incidents across the island. If you manage properties in Ville-Marie or Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, the risk is at your doorstep.
Standard security isn't enough when the stats look like this.
