In Chinese Medicine, period pain (dysmenorrhea) is often seen as a sign of 'stagnation'—like a river that's blocked and can't flow smoothly. This can cause cramping, clotting, and that heavy, aching sensation.

Acupuncture works by:
➡️ Releasing endorphins (your body's natural painkillers)
➡️ Improving blood flow to the uterus
➡️ Calming the nervous system to reduce cramping
➡️ Addressing the root cause of the imbalance
Think of it as gently unblocking that river, allowing for a smooth, pain-free flow. 🌊
Your body has an innate ability to find balance. We're just here to help it remember how.

Our History

The Clinic of Sinosoins was founded in 2004 by Hong Qian, who moved to Montreal from Chengdu, China. Before Hong Qian moved to Montreal, she served at the First People's hospital of Chengdu as a doctor and an expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Passionate about her career, she saw a need to help patients with the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She embarked on a new journey to learn French, obtained her certification in practicing acupuncture in Quebec and opened her clinic in 2004.

Upon arrival, she perceived a lack of health and wellness centres offering Traditional Chinese Medicine and thus decided to embark on a new journey to learn French, obtain her certification in practicing acupuncture in Quebec and open her clinic in 2004.

Hong Qian is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist (O.A.Q) and clinical herbalist. As one of the top acupuncturists in Montreal, she credits much of her success to combining her wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern western medicine.

After the opening of the clinic, more than 98% of treatments were evidently effective and 95% of patients got healed from ailment or achieved their goals. She has always been passionate about helping women achieve a healthy pregnancy.
