A li’l life update:

1) We made the move up to the country in Arundel where I grew up. Laurentians frens I haven’t seen in awhile, let’s link up!

2)While we’re still practicing Tues-Thurs in Montreal, Mélina Guay and I are thrilled to be working alongside a team of incredible therapists at Clinique Ostéo Tremblant. Who knew randomly practicing with then unbeknownst clinic owner Andre Croteau at a peripheral nerve weekend course would pave the way to me practicing osteopathy in the Laurentians a few months later. Love it.

Very late to the NY party on IG, but the passage of time simply eludes you after several days in the country.

IMPORTANT NOTICE *****

Dear friends and patients,

The CRA, without much explanation, has suddenly deemed osteopathy a taxable service, much to the dismay of the whole osteopathic community here in Quebec.

Because of this, we are all forced to add GST/QST charges to our receipts effective immediately. Our association, Osteopathy Quebec, has taken steps with their legal team in hopes of better understanding the sudden imposition and will be communicating with us in due time.

I apologize wholeheartedly for this and will keep you all updated with any new developments.

A member of Ostéopathie Québec, Josh graduated from the Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal as an Intern in Osteopathy (I.O.) and is currently working on his post-graduate project. He has also been a cerified massage therapist for the past 10 years. Dear friends,

In light of how fast things change in a matter of days, Full Power Osteopathy and Massage Therapy has decided to suspend its services for the next two weeks, aiming to resume the week of the 30th.

This is a simple decision to help limit the scope of transmission of the virus. And being a health care practitioner, it wouldn’t sit right with me to put others or myself at risk.

I’m wishing everyone a lot of health and happiness, especially in these times of uncertainty, and look forward to seeing everyone in “full force” and with some new perspective when we emerge out from the other side.
