Fellowship is extended by invitation only and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, service to the profession, contributions to dental literature, and commitment to the community.

I am deeply grateful for this recognition and remain committed to advancing dentistry through education, research, and innovation.

This distinction is especially meaningful as it acknowledges contributions to the profession and community service. I am grateful for the recognition from my peers and would like to congratulate all the newly inducted fellows.

Cette année aux JDIQ, j’aurais l’honneur de présenter les recommandations officielles du American Academy of Periodontology sur l’effet du phénotype gingival sur la santé parodontale. Le but de la présentation est de comprendre l’importance de la conversion d’un phénotype mince en un phénotype épais pour le maintien de la santé parodontale et péri-implantaire.

Nous répondrons aux questions suivantes :
La modification de la gencive d’un phénotype mince à épais contribue-t-elle au maintien de la santé à long terme?
Quel est l’effet de la modification chirurgicale du phénotype des tissus mous autour des prothèses et implants?
La thérapie de modification du phénotype est-elle bénéfique pour les patients recevant des traitements orthodontiques?
