A few members of our team will be at the summit this year, presenting a poster on Check Me Out!

We would love for folks to come by and hear more about the program, how it was made, why it was made that way, and how it could look for other communities to develop something similar. You can find us in the poster hall on Thursday, November 20: 7:00-8:30 pm, Friday November 21: 2:15 -3:00 pm, and Saturday, November 22: 2:15 - 3:00 pm

We want to give an update on Check Me Out and a huge thank you to everyone involved! Since launching in January, we have had over 570 people use the checklist. There has been so much interest which has allowed us to present at schools, to service providers, and organizations about this valuable resource.

Whether you have used the checklist, supported us with its creation, had us come talk to your class, and much more, we are so grateful. We want to give a special shout out to our amazing community ambassadors. Thank you to (left to right, top to bottom) Tam, Liane Khoury, Abbey, Chris Aucoin, and Dave! You're all superstars!

Bold dark purple text on a light blue background takes up the top half of the graphic which reads "NO NEED TO STUDY FOR THIS TEST". On the middle right side is a circular photo which displays two people in a cafe- the person in the forefront is working on their laptop facing away from the camera and the person in the background is facing the camera, sitting and filling out a paper. The Check Me Out checklist was created in partnership with a number of community organizations, including Healing Our Nations ().

We are so grateful for the time that the staff at HON put into helping us build our sexual health checklist to be more inclusive, full of accurate information, and to better serve First Nations communities accessing healthcare in Nova Scotia.

HON is such a fantastic partner, and beacon of so much important HIV prevention and support work, we always feel lucky to learn from and work alongside them.
