La Chaire Autodétermination et Handicap, en collaboration avec Laura Lémerveil , est heureuse d’offrir une bourse de 5 000 $ destinée à une personne étudiante souhaitant entreprendre ou poursuivre des études en psychoéducation, dans un profil de recherche à la maîtrise ou au doctorat à l’UQTR.

La personne récipiendaire devra 𝐫𝐞́𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐧 𝐦𝐞́𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞̀𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐩 𝐞𝐭 𝐥’𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, en partenariat direct avec Laura Lémerveil et sous la direction scientifique de la Chaire.

C’est avec une immense tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre directeur général et ami, Stéphane Braney, le 3 janvier 2026. Stéphane était un pilier de notre association ainsi que de la défense des droits des personnes en situation de handicap. Son décès est une perte incommensurable pour nous toutes et tous.

Nous vous invitons à nous faire parvenir vos témoignages et contribuer ainsi à honorer sa mémoire. Plusieurs hommages lui seront faits au cours des mois et années à suivre.

Au nom de l’équipe AQEIPS, nous souhaitons remercier Stéphane pour sa joie, sa bonne humeur, sa bienveillance, son humour et son engagement.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our executive director and friend, Stéphane Braney, on January 3rd, 2026. Stéphane was a pillar of our association and of the defense of the rights of persons with disabilities.

His passing is an immeasurable loss for all of us. We invite you to send us your testimonials and help honour his memory. Several tributes will be paid to him in the months and years to come.

The Building Employment Pathways Project offers personalized, one-on-one career coaching to help post-secondary students and recent graduates with disabilities navigate their career journey with confidence. Whether you’re exploring career options, preparing for job interviews, or developing workplace strategies, our trained Sustainable Livelihoods Job coaches are here to support you.

With this extension, students can receive up to 15 hours of job coaching over an 8-week period, ending March 13th. Enrolment ends January 16th, end of day.
