Volunteer opportunity:

Where: Virtual

When: Fall semester

Time commitment: Flexible, at least once a week, to be discussed based on availability.

What to expect: As a volunteer, you are expected to call patients/caregivers and recruit them to fill out a patient experience survey. If the patient/caregiver wishes to do the survey, you would complete it with them over the phone and enter the data in the electronic platform. Volunteers should be comfortable with conversational French and English.

Why is this important? The Ministry of Health implemented this patient experience survey in early 2024 across the entire healthcare system to evaluate patient experience, compare different CISSS/CIUSSS, monitor trends over time and report the results to the public.
