Hardstyle Kettlebell Mtl is a school where we teach people how to move better and encourage them to move often. We train movement patterns rather than muscle groups, and pay special attention to how each movement is performed, reinforcing quality over quantity. We emphasize and teach the skill of strength and flexibility/mobility, and strive for balance and symmetry in each, like Yin and Yang. Our training philosophy can be compared to traditional Martial Arts because we challenge our students to “practice” rather than “workout”. This is mindful movement. We train and teach through the use of minimal equipment, such as kettlebells and one’s own bodyweight because we believe that simplicity is key and less is more when focusing on attaining results. Our classes and programs are fun, effective, unique and stimulating for everyone, from beginners to athletes and all ages groups. We never compromise quality and our number one concern is “do no harm”. We are known for making strength and flexibility easy and attainable to anyone, and most of all enjoyable for life. Everyone that comes through our door goes though a movement assessment and is consulted for a training program to fit their schedule and budget. When I walked out of prison, my mission was simple and clear — become a better human.

Can’t do a One-Arm Push-up? No problem.
Most people think a one-arm push-up is “impossible”…
They just don’t know how to shift their weight.

➡️ Regular push-up = 50/50
➡️ Hand slightly out = 60/40
➡️ Wider = 70/30
➡️ Even wider = 80/20
➡️ Eventually… 100/0 = One-Arm Power

What an incredible weekend in Mexico. 🇲🇽🔥

I just wrapped up the Strong Endurance® Seminar with my mentors — Pavel Tsatsouline and Fabio Zonin — and it honestly felt like the opportunity of a lifetime. Even after taking this seminar multiple times, Pavel’s genius still blows my mind. Every single session taught me something new.

This weekend only reinforced my belief that Strong Endurance and anti-glycolytic training are truly the most effective way to build power, resilience, and long-term strength for both athletes and everyday people.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Yoana Teran, someone whose work I respect deeply — and reconnecting with people who inspire me to be better every day.

But it wasn’t just about the learning…
It was also about the people.

I met new friends, reconnected with familiar faces, and even met some amazing fans who have been following my journey for a long time — people I had only interacted with online until now.

I’m leaving Mexico with:
✨ New knowledge
✨ New programs and protocols
✨ New ways to help my students
✨ Beautiful memories
✨ And a deeper appreciation for this community

Overall, this was an unforgettable weekend — and I’m excited to bring everything I learned back to the Kettlebell Club. Strong Endurance keeps evolving… and so will we.

From Cane to Kettlebells: Johnny’s Comeback Story 💪

When Johnny first walked into Kettlebell Club this summer, he wasn’t just injured — he was in pain, frustrated, and uncertain about his future.
He came in leaning on a cane, moving carefully with every step.

Two years earlier, Johnny had suffered a serious accident at work.
As a mechanic, he slipped in the garage and crushed his tailbone, an injury that left him with sciatica, numbness in his leg, and weakness throughout his body.
He tried everything — physiotherapy, treatments, exercises — but nothing seemed to help.

When we met, I told him something simple:

> “Johnny, I can’t promise miracles. But I can promise progress — one step, one rep at a time.”

And that’s exactly what we did.

At first, Johnny could barely squat.
He needed the suspension trainers just to hold himself steady.
Even sitting down on a bench without pain was a challenge.

But Johnny showed up — every single week.
He learned how to move better. He learned how to breathe.
He learned how to get stronger — safely, patiently, methodically.

And today…
Johnny blew his own mind.

He performed five deep goblet squats with a 24 kg kettlebell — something that once felt impossible.
He crushed 15 full push-ups and 15 inverted rows.
And when I showed him how to add resistance bands for power push-ups, he couldn’t believe how far he’d come.

This is what real strength looks like.
Not just lifting a heavy bell — but lifting yourself back up after life knocks you down.

Congratulations, Johnny.
You’re living proof that it’s never too late to rebuild.

Hardstyle Kettlebell Mtl is not your typical gym.

We are a school where we teach people how to MOVE BETTER and encourage them to MOVE MORE OFTEN. We train movements that challenge the entire body rather than isolating muscle groups, and pay we special attention to how each movement is performed, reinforcing quality over quantity.

Our PURPOSE is to make our students into better, stronger and more functional human beings for life. Everything we do here applies to everyday activities, and every exercise you perform will have a positive carryover to what you do outside the gym. We emphasize and teach SKILLS of movement, strength and flexibility/mobility through better AWARENESS and strive for balance and symmetry in each, like Yin and Yang. Our training philosophy can be compared to traditional Martial Arts because we challenge our students to “practice” rather than “workout”. We are about the underlying principles, not just the tools used. This is mindful movement.
