No one warns you that becoming a mother means burying one version of yourself and trying to build another while caring for a growing, demanding little human. You can’t really keep up because you’re not meant to.

The shift from maiden to mother isn’t soft or poetic. It’s a breaking… a shedding… a rebuilding from bones you didn’t even know were yours.

I meet a new “me” every day and I love every version.

Motherhood is surrendering to the now. Raw, exhausted, fierce, and honest in ways I never had the courage to be before.

This is the becoming no one talks about.
The quiet transformation.
The becoming of a woman who is both who she was and someone entirely new.
And somehow, in the chaos and the tenderness, I’m learning that this version of me was somehow always there.
