Our Story
Hi, I'm Myriam, the co-founder of ORABEL.
Our story started 6 months before my wedding. I was in my last year of a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Montreal. Back then my makeup collection was limited to a stick foundation from Maybelline within "Fit Me" range, which I used as a concealer :) and a blush, also from Maybelline’s "Fit Me" line. This just wasn’t enough. Like many other soon-to-be brides I was looking for good quality makeup for my special day, but being a student I was broke, and I also didn’t know anything about makeup.
But I knew that it was important for me to have products that fit my skin type. I started looking for reviews everywhere especially online. That was when I discovered YouTube’s beauty channels! ;) I immediately fell in love with the platform and became addicted to YouTube! ;) It was the easiest way to find reviews of affordable and effective products, and I knew it would save me from wasting money on bad quality products!
