My story started long ever so ago, long before I was born... unbeknownst to me.
My recent story starts 8 years ago when I was at the height of my fashion career, flying all over the world, showing my fashions in Italy, the UK, Germany, China and more fabulous countries. And then one day I got sick. Really sick, like the flu that I did not understand and I ended up in the hospital fighting for my life. They operated to save my life and a full two months later, I emerged from the hospital, having opened QVC Italia from my hospital bed to signing my life away to keep the company going.
I still had to show up at live TV fashion shows, I still had to travel... and my hair was falling out from the stress, the illness, the inflammation.
My ND created a natural formula that grew my hair back like crazy, and Cydney Mar Wellness was born. In the background of winding down Cydney Mar Design Studios, I created the product line that was to become the basis for helping people regain their health & beauty.
There were so many telltale signs of my eventual destination in the healing arts ~ from my Grandfather Ma who was a medical herbalist before he came to Canada, and my First Nations Grandmum Mabel Angus, to my father who read Edgar Cayce and my mother who introduced me to Spirit. My company is an Aboriginal Company & I am deeply grateful for everyone who helped me trace my way home to my Ancestral roots.
It is my raison d’etre to help people feel their best, so they can go out into the world and be their best selves. That is my legacy.
