we love a good rice bowl in my house 💃🍚and i can’t wait to have my kitchen back so i can make this one again 😩it’s a little bit poke-inspired but with a homemade yogurt-based sauce. you can do whatever add ins you like!! i’ll include my shrimp recipe and yogurt sauce recipe below, save it for later 💌🤌
15-20 shrimp
marinade with:
3 tbsp coconut aminos
1/4 tsp ginger
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic chopped
let sit for a couple of hours if possible before sautéing in skillet until cooked thru
poke-esque sauce:
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tbsp toasted sesame seed oil
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp - 1/2 tsp crushed red chilli flakes or to taste (use more or less for more or less spice)
1+ 1/2 cups white rice or cauliflower rice, prepared
add-ins:
thinly sliced cucumber
avocado
shredded carrots
shredded cabbage
toasted sesame seeds
place add-ins around rice, top w shrimp, drizzle sauce and enjoy!
